We hired Natasha for our wedding in January and I couldn’t have asked for more, not only is she an amazing photographer but she went above and beyond to make what we wanted happen and she captured the most beautiful photos of our wedding, she also helped my now new husband and his groomsmen get ready as they turned up not even dressed to the hotel were we were all meeting! And as my husband was very nervous and isn’t the biggest fan of having photos taken she just made them feel so comfortable and because of that we got such amazing photos of him and his groomsmen.

We also had 2 great meetings prior to the actual wedding were we wondered round to locations and Natasha was great as she helped me find the right places to go to get the kind of photos and vibe we wanted!

Natasha didn’t just take beautiful photos she was there for us throughout the whole process before and after the wedding and she helped us all relax and feel comfortable and because of that our day went even more smoothly which I think every bride needs on the big day!

We were lucky enough to have Natasha Matthee as our wedding photographer this month in Melbourne.

Roddy and I planned our wedding from Perth therefore initially liaised with Natasha over the phone, we got along famously from the get go.

I was expecting just to meet Natasha on the day of our wedding however she suggested we meet personally a visit the locations in Melbourne where we’d like to have our wedding photos. Roddy and I met Natasha at the Royal Botanic Gardens and had a great time choosing locations to shoot yet more importantly had the opportunity to meet one and other. Natasha then made it her business to visit the two hotels and the beach prior to the wedding to ensure all was perfect for our special day .. this is service!

On the day of our wedding Natasha arrived at the hotel where Roddy and his groomsmen were getting ready. Roddy was very nervous yet after 1-2 hours of photo’s with Natasha he calmed down and was ready for the day.

Natasha then came to our hotel and made a conscious effort to introduce herself to all the ladies .. she took charge and managed to capture some amazing shots.

The Melbourne weather managed to hold out for us throughout the ceremony, Natasha then went to the effort of taking a group photo from a ladder in the garden to ensure the whole wedding party was included. Moments after the skies opened up and it started pouring .. everyone ran for cover and pulled out their umbrellas, Natasha embraced the moment with us and managed to get some great shots.

Natasha was always the first one to arrive at each location, her easy going, bubbly personality made our day (and getting a lot of photos) so much more enjoyable. The whole bridal party enjoyed Natasha’s energy .. thank you for doing such an amazing job!

Hi Natasha

I just wanted to say Thank you on behalf of my husband, Adam and all of the bridal party and our families. You were absolutely AMAZING….. You were so friendly, helpful, funny and I honestly felt like I had known you for years.  I felt so relaxed around you, and I know my girls did too.

Sometimes when you get your photo taken it is awkward and you stare and have a pretend smile, but you were just like a good friend taking photos.  It wasn’t a photo shoot, it was more like a bunch of friends catching up having a few laughs and some snaps were taken. One of my favorite moves was the look down, look down, OKAY LOOK AT ME.. Love it..

You got along with all the boys (Troy) and also had many laughs and made them all feel so relaxed.  Our families also enjoyed how you would ask to take photos and snap away. I would highly recommend you with ANY wedding, party, birthdays and any events.  I really hope that I get to work with you again as I have previously said, you were so easy to get along with and I felt like I had known you for years.

If I had another wedding I would pick you over and over again.  Your photo’s that you have shown me are AMAZING!

Natasha was the photographer for our daughter’s 1st birthday held at St Kilda Botanical Gardens. She is very positive, bubbly, easygoing, and makes people feel at ease.  She engaged very well with all our family and friends, including the little people, and this reflects in our wonderful photographs.
